Game logs, Heisman Trophy odds for Boise State RB

play

Ashton Jeanty continues to take college football by storm amid a historic season at Boise State while becoming a top-10 prospect in the upcoming NFL Draft class.

Perhaps an additional uniqueness to Jeanty's season is that it is taking place in the Mountain West and Boise State (a Group of Five program) rather than at the Power Four level.

The 5-foot-9 running back is coming off a campaign against UNLV in which he touched the ball 33 times and ran for 128 rushing yards with a rushing touchdown. He leads the country in rushing, is second in rushing touchdowns and remains in the running to become the first running back to win the Heisman Trophy Award since Alabama's Derrick Henry.

Jeanty's 128 rushing yards last week against UNLV tied former Boise State running back Jay Ajayi's record for the program record for most consecutive games, with over 100 rushing yards in seven. His rushing touchdown in the third quarter was his 18th of the season – which also tied him with Ajayi for sixth most in a single season.

Entering Week 10 of the college football season, Jeanty remains on track to break one of college football's oldest records by a running back: Barry Sanders' NCAA single-season rushing record Set up at Oklahoma State in 1988.

Here's a look at Jeanty's stats this season, including a game log of his games this season and how far he is from Sanders' record:
