Murray was crossing the lane with Anthony Edwards guarding him when Randle backed up to pursue Aaron Gordon and accidentally hit his shoulder against Murray's nose.

Murray's head was thrown back against Edwards by the impact, and he writhed in pain as the game continued before he subbed out during a timeout four possessions later and headed to the locker room for further evaluation.

The Nuggets ruled him out for the rest of the game a few minutes later.

Murray scored six points on 2-for-7 shooting and three assists in 22 minutes.

The Nuggets lost the game by a score of 119-116.
