Man accused of indecent assault denies 'no plea to indecent behaviour'.

Obituaries filed on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays will be accepted only via email to [email protected] from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m

(No proof will be provided. Pricing will not be available until after 10:00 a.m. the next business day by calling Dianne at 610-915-2226.)

Obituaries received after the deadline will not be published in the following edition of the newspaper.

Shipping procedure:

Email is the preferred method for receiving obituaries (and the only method on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays). They can be sent to [email protected] (feel free to call and confirm that we have received the email).

Formatting:

Obituaries will continue to look the same visually as before, but you are no longer limited to what you can say (e.g., you can list as many family members as you want; phrases such as “went to rest with the Lord”) are now permitted )

Other:

There is a cost for each obituary. Pricing and payments are only available Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. All weekend and holiday submissions will receive an estimate on the next business day.

Exceptions:

All new accounts, out-of-state funeral homes, and private parties require prepayment upon obituary approval. Employees on weekends and holidays are not permitted to set up a new account or process payments

The deadline for entries for the above dates is Monday to Friday before 4:00 p.m. only (holiday schedules may vary).

Submissions requiring prepayment will be processed on the first business day following the weekend and/or holiday schedule. To set up your account, a full name, address, and phone number are required when submitting your obituary. Proof will then be emailed for verification but will be held until payment is received.
