Houston weather forecast for November 1st

After a few heavy rains yesterday, things are looking calmer today, the sky is mostly cloudy, there is an occasional drizzle and the air is humid.

There is a lot of uncertainty, but isolated late day and evening storms are possible, particularly if our maximum temperatures become slightly warmer than expected.

We are still in an unclear situation for the weekend, Monday and election Tuesday.

A front and a line of rain are expected on Tuesday, but it is still unclear whether the line will begin very early in the day, which would allow for fine weather later in the day, or whether there will be storms around midday. Stay connected with us for the latest front line time estimates.

We could still see a tropical storm form in the Caribbean Sea in November, and there's a slim chance it makes it into the Gulf. It is unlikely to impact the Houston area.
