Bail set at $1 million for man accused of attacking two teenage girls

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A Lincoln man was held on $1 million bond Friday for sexually assaulting two girls.

Scotlund Adkins, 31, is charged with first-degree sexual assault of a child, second-degree sexual assault of a child and intentional child abuse.

Court documents show he inappropriately touched a 12-year-old and a 13-year-old.

He also had one of them watch pornography with him and gave the other a sex toy, an affidavit said.

One of the girls reported the assaults last week, and Adkins was arrested Thursday.

Adkins would have to pay $100,000 to be released from prison.

His next court date is scheduled for December 12th.
