Blake Lively revived Winter Whites at the 2024 CFDA Awards

You heard it here first: The old adage about abandoning white people after Labor Day is now outdated. A typical example? Celebrities like Blake Lively are already reviving last year's (and every year's) winter white trend in a big way. In fact, the actress attended one of fashion's biggest nights in a white-on-white OOTD.

On Monday, Lively arrived at the 2024 CFDA Awards in a white Michael Kors look that included a ribbed scoop-neck tank top tucked into a sequin maxi skirt with ruffle details at the hip and a thigh-high leg slit. Layered over the top was a matching oversized blazer, which Lively wore draped over her shoulders.

Accessorizing with her signature bold flair, the star opted for a low-cut diamond lavalier necklace with a huge stone pendant, matching earrings, a pearl bracelet and a few matching rings. She completed the eye-catching outfit with transparent, glittery Christian Louboutin pumps.

On the carpet, Lively posed next to Kors, who contrasted the actress' all-white look with a black suit over a matching T-shirt. During the event, he was honored with the Positive Change Award for his philanthropic efforts with Watch Hunger Stop, God's Love We Deliver and the United Nations World Food Program Harper's Bazaar.

When it comes to glamour, Lively wore her famous blonde hair in a deep side part and flowing, voluminous curls, complemented by a bronzed complexion and a luscious lip, perfected by her makeup artist Carolina Gonzalez.

Lively later revealed the secret behind her luscious lips on her Instagram Story: a Gen Z-approved trick. “When @cgonzalezbeauty uses the Gen Z eyeshadow lip trick to make your lips look huge…” she wrote over the close-up selfie.

She followed the post with another snap that captured the aftereffects of removing her makeup.

“But then… you wash off your makeup and accept that you're a millennial girl who wore lip gloss with alarming amounts of chili peppers in high school for a plump look because we were SO fixated on bad ideas,” added them added.
