A Fulton County deputy was injured in a fight while working off-duty at a liquor store, police said

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – A Fulton County deputy was injured while doing an off-duty job at a liquor store Friday evening, according to Atlanta police.

At approximately 11:10 p.m. Friday, officers were called to 775 Joseph E. Boone Boulevard NW, listed as HN Liquor Store, where they found the 54-year-old injured. He was taken to hospital in stable condition.

According to police, the man and the suspect got into an argument that turned into a physical altercation. Officials did not provide any information about the suspects or say whether anyone was arrested in the incident.
