Loveland man charged with murder in west Loveland death – Loveland Reporter-Herald

Loveland police arrested a 30-year-old man on first-degree murder charges Friday evening after responding to a call from a woman concerned about her mother.

After a 911 call at 7 p.m., officers went to a home in the 3700 block of Foothills Drive. The caller said she couldn't reach her mother and was worried about her, according to a police statement.

When officers arrived, they contacted a man – later identified as Michael Fuller – inside the home. As they tried to take him outside so they could talk to him, officers saw a woman lying on the floor of the home, the release said.

“Officers quickly entered the home and safely took Fuller into custody,” police said.

Officials then confirmed that the woman was dead. The Larimer County Coroner's Office will release information regarding her death and identity at a later date.

According to Loveland police, Fuller was booked into the Larimer County Jail on charges of first-degree premeditated murder with a weapon and tampering with physical evidence, both felonies, as well as violating a protective order.

Police said Fuller also lived at the home but did not provide further details. The press release states that the investigation is ongoing and no further information will be released at this time.

“The crime scene is still active and will likely be active for several days,” police said.
