Two people were killed in a crash in Baton Rouge on Saturday morning, police said

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – Two people were killed in an accident on Saturday morning, November 2nd, according to police.

According to Baton Rouge Police, the accident occurred around 1:30 a.m. in the area of ​​South Foster Drive and Claycut Road.

According to investigators, a driver lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a tree.

Police identified the two deceased victims as Tristen Hoover, 27; and Claire Zeller, 24. They added that Hoover and Zeller were rear passengers in the crashed vehicle.

The crash is still under investigation.
