Ryan Reynolds responds to Martha Stewart's viral comments

Ryan Reynolds responded to Martha Stewart's viral comments about the Deadpool & Wolverine star not being funny in real life.

“I wouldn’t agree with her. But I tried that once,” Reynolds posted on “X.” “The woman is unexpectedly spry. She really closed the gap after about a mile.”

Stewart was asked during an appearance on “Rent Free” which celebrities she thought respondents named as the most fun to spend time with.

“He's probably only on the list because he covers up in his movies and you don't see his face – Ryan Reynolds, is he one of those?” she asked, according to PEOPLE. “And you want to know something? He's not that funny in real life. No, he's not that funny. He’s very serious.”

Stewart, 83, added examples of funny actors include Brad Pitt and George Clooney.

“He’s a good actor,” she said. “He can be funny, but he’s not funny. Maybe he can be funny again… I’m going to get in trouble.”
