Propane semi-truck leak triggers evacuation order in Pine Cove

A large propane tractor-trailer with an active leak triggered an evacuation order in Pine Cove on Saturday, the Riverside County Fire Department said.

The leak was reported just after 9:30 a.m. Saturday in the 53100 block of Mountain View Drive.

An evacuation order was issued for homes on Mountain View Drive and homes on Walters Drive were advised to shelter in place.
