Motorcycle and vehicle accident in Richland

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – A motorcyclist was struck on Highway 49 South in Richland around 4 p.m. Saturday afternoon

WLBT officials reported that multiple officers from both the Richland Police Department and the Pearl Police Department were on scene.

According to a Richland Police Department representative, traffic commotion may have been a factor in the accident.

The condition of the drivers is currently unknown.
