Zeke will be inactive on Sunday against ATL

The Cowboys will be without running back Ezekiel Elliott for Sunday's game against the Falcons.

The team has decided he will not be active for the game and has decided not to allow him to travel to Atlanta on Saturday.

Elliott started the game and scored the Cowboys' first touchdown last week in San Francisco. But with Rico Dowdle expected to play and Dalvin Cook again called up from the practice squad, those two will likely get the bulk of the carries on Sunday.

Elliott has 149 rushing yards on 48 carries (3.1 average) and two touchdowns this year.

The Cowboys are last in the NFL with 74.1 yards per game.

Elliott is the Cowboys' third-leading rusher and has 9,053 career rushing yards in nine professional seasons.
