Dustin Stoltzfus defeats Marc-Andre Barriault

Dustin Stoltzfus threw caution to the wind and Marc-Andre Barriault's consciousness followed him.

On the main card of UFC Fight Night 246 on Saturday at Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, Stoltzfus (16-6 MMA, 3-5 UFC) scored a massive knockout against Barriault (16-9 MMA, 5-8 UFC). 4:28 of lap 1.

The final sequence began and ended with a dirty boxing clinch. Barriault appeared to be the aggressor, eagerly moving Stoltzfus into position. Stoltzfus obeyed him and a massive right hand punch knocked Barriault unconscious.

Barriault dropped to the canvas and blocked two more massive shots, much to the dismay of his home crowd.

The win put Stoltzus back on the win list and moved him to 3-3 in his last six appearances, with the results changing throughout. Saturday's victory was the third knockout victory of his career.

Barriault goes into a tailspin with the defeat. It was the third knockout/TKO loss of his career.
