THP is investigating fatal crash on I-75 in Loudon County

LOUDON COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) – The Tennessee Highway Patrol said it is investigating a fatal crash that occurred on I-75 Saturday afternoon.

According to TDOT, the accident, which occurred on I-75 South at mile marker 80, caused a closure of the south side of the interstate and caused a mile-long traffic delay several hours after the accident.

Further information, including the number of vehicles involved in the crash and the identity of the victim, was not released.
