Charli XCX will host and perform in November

The musician will headline the November 16 episode of the sketch comedy series

Charli XCX is really committed to proving that the “360” lyric “I'm everywhere, I'm so Julia” is the truest statement she's ever made. She toured everywhere, including a sold-out stop at Madison Square Garden. She also played a DJ set for them in front of an art installation Remix album at the Storm King Art Center in Orange County, New York. And on November 16th, the singer and songwriter will bring them with her brat Agenda of 30 Rock, where she serves as both host and musical guest Saturday Night Live.

brat made it to the final season of Saturday Night Live before Charli even could. In late September, actor Bowen Yang played the role of the musician in a “Charli XCX Talk Show” sketch. “I think SNL is iconic,” Charli responded earlier this month. “Troye [Sivan] and I, we had an idea it was coming, so we were really excited about it.”

“I love Bowen and I really think he's done a great job,” she added on Howard Stern's SiriusXM channel. “I was actually very impressed with the hair texture. I thought it was a really good wig. It was good, it was cool.”

Charli took this last SNL stage as a musical guest in March 2022, when she performed “Beg for You” and “Baby.” crash. It was her second appearance after her debut in December 2014 with “Boom Clap” and “Break the Rules”. Needless to say, she has lived many a party girl life since then. The upcoming gig will be her first appearance as host of the sketch comedy series.

Last night Charli was honored at the Wall Street Journal Magazine Innovator Awards. “I wrote an album about myself, about my friends, about saying goodbye and about all my problems,” she said at the event. “I wasn't sure if anyone would identify with it, [but] The pendulum of culture swung in favor of disorder.”
