Saturday Night Live selects Charli XCX and Bill Burr as post-election hosts

NEW YORK (AP) – Comedian and actor Bill Burr will host the first “Saturday Night Live” after the election with musical guest guitarist, producer and singer Mk.gee. Charli XCX is also pending.

Burr is touring with his “Bill Burr Live” show and will be doing a revival of it on Broadway this spring with Kieran Culkin and Bob Odenkirk Glengarry Glen Ross will appear as presenter for the second time on November 9th.

Charli She's fresh from the hit album “Brat” and two related albums.

Mk.gee will appear as a musical guest for the first time. He is currently on a world tour and releasing his debut album “Two Star & The Dream Police”.

“SNL” returns November 2nd with previously announced host John Mulaney and musical guest Chappell Roan.

Season 50 starred Maya Rudolph as Kamala Harris, James Austin Johnson as Donald Trump and Jim Gaffigan as Tim Walz, Governor of Minnesota.
