Chloë Grace Moretz has come out as a “gay woman”.

On Friday, November 1, the 27-year-old actress revealed her sexual orientation in an Instagram post about her early voting experience in the 2024 election.

Her post included an image of a voting sticker that read “I voted in early 2024” in red, white and blue.

“I voted early and voted for Kamala Harris,” Moretz captioned her post. “There is so much at stake in this election.”

The Nimona The star went on to share why she voted for Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris.

“I believe that the government has no right over my body as a woman and that decisions about my body should ONLY be mine and my doctor's,” she wrote. “Kamala Harris will protect this for us.”

The actress praised Harris, 60, for her support of the LGBTQIA+ community. “I believe in the need for legal protections that protect the LGBTQ+ community as a gay woman,” she wrote. “We need protection and access to the care we need and deserve in this country.”

Moretz ended her post with a call to action to her more than 24 million followers on the social media platform, encouraging them to make a voting plan.

The Kick ass alum has been romantically linked to model Kate Harrison since 2018 when they were spotted kissing at Nobu in Malibu, California. Since then, the two have appeared on each other's Instagram pages several times. They also recently featured each other in their respective posts from a friend's wedding in September.

Moretz shared two photos of herself and Harrison in their carousel from the wedding. In one of the photos the couple is sitting comfortably at a dining table, in the other they are standing in black dresses with their arms around each other's waists.

Harrison's post included a sweet snapshot of a couple and a photo of their wedding table card with their names written together.

In June, the model also shared a snapshot of herself and Moretz at the Dyke March in New York City.

Earlier this year, the two were spotted wearing rings on their left ring fingers while visiting Disneyland together in Anaheim, California. The couple also wore matching denim outfits and baseball caps during their visit to the theme park.

Moretz was seen wearing a ring on her left hand several times this spring, including at a Louis Vuitton event on April 22 and at a W Magazine event in Los Angeles on March 7th.

She was still wearing the ring during a recent outing to the Louis Vuitton Paris Womenswear Spring 2025 show in October.
