The SEC has been beating up on each other through 10 weeks of the 2024 college football season. November promises to be a frenetic race to Atlanta as eight teams sit with two or fewer losses in the SEC standings. Five teams, Georgia, Texas A&M, Tennessee, Texas, and LSU have just one loss on the season.

Each week, we’ve had a big upset in conference play, and this week was no different as the South Carolina Gamecocks knocked off the No. 10 Texas A&M Aggies just one week after the Aggies posted a huge win over LSU.

How did the Gamecocks’ win over Texas A&M affect this week’s SEC power rankings? Let’s take a look.

It’s easy to look at Auburn’s situation and think it’s hopeless, but that’s not because they lost to Vanderbilt. This isn’t the same Vandy team we’ve come to know over the years. Still, Hugh Freeze is going to have a lot to answer for as his seat is getting warm.
