Memphis Grizzlies rookie Zach Edey fouls out against Utah Jazz in the first NBA game of his career

SALT LAKE – Memphis Grizzlies rookie Zach Edey's NBA debut was short-lived on Wednesday night against the Utah Jazz.

Edey struggled with foul trouble throughout the game and was fouled with 9:15 left in the fourth quarter. He finished the game with five points and five rebounds.

It was difficult for Edey to find a good rhythm on Wednesday. He picked up two early fouls in the first quarter and a third foul shortly after re-entering the game in the second quarter. He only played 15 minutes

Backup center Jay Huff has stepped up and been one of the Grizzlies' best players in Edey's absence, but Memphis will need its first-round pick to stay out of foul trouble later in the season.
