Teen killed, another injured after argument turns into shooting in Chester Park: police

CHESTER, Pa – A large brawl at a local park ended tragically when an 18-year-old was shot and killed Friday evening, according to police.

When officers arrived, the fight was taking place at Memorial Park on 7th Street in Chester before shots were fired from the crowd.

One victim, 18-year-old Montera Wilson, was shot in the back and taken to a local hospital where she died from her injuries.

A second victim, a 17-year-old male, was shot in the leg. His condition was said to be stable.

Chester Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward with the investigation.

“Given the timing of the incident and the location, I know there were several people in the area who witnessed this murder.”
