Metro police are investigating a fatal shooting with a “potentially drug-related” motive

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – Metro Nashville Police are investigating a fatal shooting with a “possible drug-related” motive at a Nashville apartment complex.

The shooting occurred Saturday evening outside Building D of the Knollcrest Apartments at 3301 Creekwood Drive.

According to police, the shooting victim, 33-year-old Danny House Jr., was approaching an acquaintance's apartment when he was shot around 11 p.m

He was taken to Skyline Medical Center, where he later died.

Officers worked on the case throughout the night and followed up on leads.
