MONROEVILLE (KDKA) – Three people were hospitalized and a fourth died in a crash in Monroeville late Saturday evening.

According to Allegheny County Police, they were called to a crash in the 3700 block of William Penn Highway just before midnight and found a Nissan Pathfinder and a Toyota Rav 4 had collided.

There were two adult occupants in both vehicles.

A woman was pronounced dead at hospital while the other three passengers were in stable condition.

Initial investigations show that the Pathfinder drove into the rear of the Rav 4.

The deceased was a passenger in the Pathfinder.

The Allegheny County Police Homicide Unit and Accident Reconstruction Unit are investigating and anyone with information about the accident is asked to call the hotline at 1-833-ALL-TIPS.
