The Cowboys' QB is out after a hamstring injury

ATLANTA – Dak Prescott’s day in Atlanta is over.

The Dallas Cowboys quarterback was sidelined early in the fourth quarter with a hamstring injury. He was replaced by Cooper Rush.

Prescott was apparently injured while throwing a pass on the Cowboys' final possession of the third quarter, as he was seen wincing in pain after throwing an incompletion. Rush entered the game on the next series, with the Cowboys trailing the Falcons 27-13 and likely headed for a third straight loss.

Through three quarters, Prescott completed 18 of 24 passes for 133 yards with touchdowns, no interceptions and a passer rating of 101.6. He was also sacked three times and ran for 30 yards three times, including a 22-yard dash.
