Ja Morant's appearance in the NBA return goes viral

After waiting since January, Ja Morant finally returned to the NBA and did not disappoint. Morant delivered an absolute performance as he led the Memphis Grizzlies to a narrow win over the Utah Jazz.

In Morant's NBA return, he scored 22 points, 10 assists and 5 rebounds while shooting 58% from the field. He did it all in 28 minutes and led the Grizzlies to a 126-124 win over the Jazz.

As great as Morant's stats were against the Jazz, his game-winning dagger shot was the most impressive moment of his return. With 40 seconds left in the game, Morant hit a spectacular layup to give the Grizzlies a five-point lead and seal the game.

Morant's circus shot sent the NBA world into a frenzy and fans were all mesmerized by his return. If there was a moment to doubt whether Ja Morant was back or not, his first NBA appearance in over nine months clearly proved it.

While many were eagerly awaiting rookie Zach Edey's NBA debut, he only managed 5 points and 5 rebounds in just 16 minutes due to a foul out of the game.

Although the Grizzlies were missing Jaren Jackson Jr., Luke Kennard and GG Jackson, they were still able to pull out a win against the Jazz thanks to fantastic performances from Ja Morant, Santi Aldama and Desmond Bane.

It may only be the first game of the regular season, but the Memphis Grizzlies look like a very entertaining team.
