Internet users are reacting to a viral clip of police officers beating fans at a Florida-Georgia football game

Netizens seem to be angry at the police officers in the viral video. Many are asking police why one of their officers kept hitting an elderly man at the game in Florida. Others question whether police officers have the right to beat up the public, as shown in the clip. An X user wrote:

“Why is this officer hitting the older man in the back of the head when he is clearly dazed and no longer a threat?”

A user also attempted to bring the video to the attention of the governor of the state of Florida. The user also demanded that the police officers be prosecuted following the incident.

Further details on the incident are awaited.
