Jaire Alexander and Josh Myers are both inactive against the Lions

Green Bay Packers cornerback Jaire Alexander and center Josh Myers are both inactive for Sunday's Week 9 showdown with the Detroit Lions.

Quarterback Jordan Love (groin), running back Josh Jacobs (ankle) and cornerback Corey Ballentine (ankle) are all active, although they are listed as questionable.

Alexander, who is dealing with a knee injury, was questionable to play, while Myers, still dealing with a wrist injury, was questionable. Safety Evan Williams was sidelined Friday with a hamstring injury.

Without Alexander, the Packers will likely rely on Eric Stokes and Carrington Valentine as perimeter corners and Keisean Nixon in the slot. Javon Bullard, who recently played in the slot, is expected to start alongside Xavier McKinney. The Packers' undermanned secondary will be in the spotlight against Jared Goff and the Lions' highly efficient passing game.

The offensive line is another mystery. Without Myers, Elgton Jenkins will likely move from left guard to center and Jordan Morgan and Sean Rhyan will play defense. Morgan and Rhyan rotated on the right side.

Receiver Malik Heath, offensive lineman Travis Glover and defensive end Brenton Cox Jr. are healthy scratches.
