The Packers receive the kick and Keisean Nixon returns it from 29 yards, but an unnecessary roughing call brings the Packers back to the 34. An opening 13-yard run by Josh Jacobs immediately gives the Packers good field position at the 47 and a two- Yardage The completion to Jacobs on 3rd-and-3 sets up a 4th-and-1 at the Detroit 44. With Jordan Love in the shotgun, Tucker Kraft gets moving, takes a direct snap and gets the first down. After a false start from Jacobs, Love finds an open Romeo Doubs, but he drops the pass. On the next play, Love threw a dee down the sideline to Christian Watson, who scooped up the ball at the highest point for a 19-yard gain. Two plays later, the offensive line opened a huge hole for Jacobs after a cut and he gained 11 yards. Two plays later, on 3rd-and-7, Love has Chris Brooks open for a likely touchdown, but he throws the ball behind him and Brooks fails to catch it, Brandon McManus kicks a 30-yard field goal and takes three points from a solid first game drive.

Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown made a fashion statement by arriving at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin, ahead of Sunday's big NFC North matchup against the Green Bay Packers.

The Lions' top receiver rolled off the team bus wearing a black sweatshirt that said “GREENBAY SUCKS” and gray sweatpants.

With first place in the NFC North on the line, Jordan Love is active for Sunday's showdown between the Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions.

Love left last week's game at the Jacksonville Jaguars early in the third quarter with a groin injury. He was listed as questionable on Friday's injury report after practicing on Thursday and Friday. When the Packers decided not to call practice squad quarterback Sean Clifford to the active roster for Saturday's game day, the path was clear for Love to start.

On a sodden Lambeau field, love will have a different center. Josh Myers is inactive with a left wrist injury after being listed as questionable. It remains to be seen how the Packers will remodel their offensive line, but the Packers will have all the other offensive players available.
