Amon Ra St Brown wears a “GREENBAY SUCKS” hoodie for the Lions Packers

Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown made a fashion statement upon arriving at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin, ahead of Sunday's big NFC North matchup against the Green Bay Packers.

The Lions' top receiver rolled off the team bus wearing a black sweatshirt that said “GREENBAY SUCKS” and gray sweatpants. The Lions arrived in Lambeau more than two hours before kickoff at 4:25 p.m

The Lions and Packers will determine the NFC North leaders midway through the season. Detroit enters the match with a slight lead of 6-1 and Green Bay 6-2. Last season, these two teams split their two meetings, with both away teams winning.

In the Lions' win at Lambeau in September 2023, St. Brown had five catches for 56 yards and a touchdown on a double play in the red zone. To celebrate, St. Brown recreated the Packers' signature celebration, the Lambeau Leap, only to have a beer tipped on his head. He also blew a kiss to a Packers fan and gave him the middle finger as he high-fived Lions fans after the win. On Thursday, St. Brown said, “I'm fine” and said he wouldn't repeat the Lambeau Leap if he scores on Sunday.

But he said, “I have something else in mind, so hopefully I'll find the end zone.”

He was also hoping it wouldn't rain in northern Wisconsin, but it doesn't look like Mother Nature will honor St. Brown's wishes. The Lions arrived Sunday to a dreary gray scene with drizzle and temperatures hovering around 50 degrees. It will be the first time this season that the Lions will play an outdoor game.

“(The Packers) are a good team,” St. Brown said. “Anytime you play at Lambeau, it’s going to be a great environment. Divisional game. It's going to be a great, great atmosphere. I look forward to it.”
