Injury update: Seahawks right tackle George Fant is doubtful to return against the Rams

The Seattle Seahawks and Los Angeles Rams engage in a battle at Lumen Field in Week 9 that is as close to a win for both teams as a midseason game can get.

The Rams come into the game with renewed vigor after being healthy, having improved greatly in recent weeks after a 1-4 start. For the Seahawks, the story so far this season has been quite the opposite: After opening the season 3-0, they suffered double-digit losses in four of their last five seasons as injuries took a toll on the roster.

Now, just a day after activating right tackle George Fant from injured reserve, Fant was forced to leave the game against Los Angeles with a knee injury.

With Fant no longer in the game, rookie Michael Jerrell has moved to right tackle, and that will likely remain the case as Fant's return seems unlikely given the dubious designation.
