Within an hour, 5 downtown businesses were broken into: CPDAccording to police, five Chicago businesses in the Loop and West Loop were attacked within an hour on Saturday morning.

CHICAGO (WLS) – Chicago police are searching for a group of suspects who broke into several businesses this weekend.

Five businesses in the Loop and West Loop were hit in less than an hour Saturday morning.

According to police, in each incident, three men and a woman broke the front glass window or door and then ransacked the store to retrieve items from inside.

They wore dark hoodies and pants as well as ski masks and gloves.

The break-ins occurred at the following times and locations:

  • 400 block of S. Dearborn St at 4:45 a.m. Nov. 2
  • 200 block of W. Van Buren St at 4:56 a.m. Nov. 2
  • 500 block of S. State St at 4:57 a.m. Nov. 2
  • 600 block of W. Randolph St at 5:13 a.m. Nov. 2
  • 0-100 block of S. State St at 5:15 a.m. Nov. 2
