Motorcyclist killed in Rankin County crash

RANKIN CO., Miss. (WLBT) – A Brandon motorcyclist was killed in a crash Saturday.

According to a news release, the incident occurred at 5:11 p.m. on MS-469 near East Mountain Creek Road in Rankin County.

According to the release, 20-year-old Diego Reinoso was driving his 2017 Honda CBR south on MS-469 when it collided with a 2009 Infiniti QX50 driven by 40-year-old Teddy Porter of Mendenhall.

The press release said Reinoso died at the scene. Porter was not injured.

The Mississippi Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
