Will Vikings OT play Colts today?

Last week, the Vikings lost starting offensive tackle Christian Darrisaw to a torn ACL and MCL that ended his 2024 season. For a Vikings team that viewed its offense as the key to success, this was viewed as a major loss for the entire team.

Kwesi Adofo-Mensah responded to the need by acquiring the Jaguars' starting left tackle Cam Robinson in a trade. He gave up minimal draft capital and less money than he was entitled to in order to rent the tackle for the remainder of 2024 before entering free agency next spring.

The former Jaguars arrived in Minnesota this week and practiced with the team on Thursday, leaving some questions about his status heading into Sunday.

Cam Robinson update

Although Robinson only practiced once with the Vikings this week following his trade, he will play against the Colts on Sunday night. ESPN's Adam Schefter reported the news on Sunday morning.

The Vikings' starting offensive line is expected to consist of Cam Robinson, Blake Brandel, Garrett Bradbury, Ed Ingram and Brian O'Neill.

While Cam Robinson starts for the Vikings, David Quessenberry is expected to back him up. Rookie Walter Rouse is also expected to be available if needed.
