Patrick LaFlamme dies in ATV accident in Maine – NECN

A 65-year-old man died Saturday after an ATV accident in Dixmont, Maine.

Mark Latti, spokesman for the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries & Wildlife, told Boston's NBC10 affiliate News Center Maine that Patrick LaFlamme reportedly went hunting on his ATV Saturday morning but did not return to camp for breakfast, which prompted his friends to go looking for him.

LaFlamme's friends found him dead on an old cul-de-sac about a mile from Firetower Road, News Center Maine reports.

Latti said initial investigations indicate LaFlamme's ATV ran over him, causing his death.

The Maine Warden Service, Penobscot County Sheriff's Office, Dixmont Fire Department and Plymouth Fire and Rescue all participated in the investigation.

No further information was released.
