Queen Mary returns home with twins after the trip without King Frederik

Queen Mary is traveling home after a visit to her home country of Australia, and the Danish queen was accompanied by her twin children Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine, 13.

In pictures obtained by MailOnline, the royals were seen getting out of a black car as they prepared to fly back to Denmark. Mary looked as glamorous as ever in blue jeans and a white ruffled shirt as she was accompanied by her twin children on the way home.

Mary traveled without her husband

Earlier this week, Mary stunned onlookers on Sydney's Bronte Beach as she took a leisurely stroll with Josephine. In a sweet moment, Maria tenderly put her arm around her daughter.

The trio was not joined by King Frederik, who remained in Denmark for official reasons. The monarch opened the “Powering European Industry” conference on Tuesday and a new building at the University of Copenhagen on Wednesday.

Frederik, 56, also hosted a royal hunt at Gludsted Plantation on Thursday and held a meeting with the School of Mechanical Engineering on Friday.

It appears Mary was not accompanied by her daughter, Princess Isabella, on her week-long trip back to Australia. Meanwhile, Crown Prince Christian is currently enjoying his gap year while the heir to the Danish throne spends time in East Africa until next month.

Vincent and Josephine accompanied their mother on the trip abroad

Mary last visited family and friends in Australia in December 2023, just weeks before her mother-in-law, Queen Margrethe, announced her shocking abdication in her New Year's Eve address.

Frederik met Mary in a pub during the 2000 Sydney Olympics and the two had a long-distance relationship until their engagement was announced in October 2003.
