Sunday night storms bring additional rain to Green Country

Severe storms moved across northeastern Oklahoma Sunday evening, and severe weather chances will increase again Monday afternoon.

The Tulsa County area received rain and a few storms, and flooding was a major concern after heavy rainfall in the past 24 hours following an extended drought. This storm system is expected to dissipate around midnight and provide a brief respite before a third round of rain is forecast Monday afternoon. Another concern is power outages, with several areas across the state reporting downed lines.
