Jason Kelce's reaction to Taylor Swift's “sister-in-law” remark goes viral

Video footage of Jason Kelce's reaction to Taylor Swift being called his “future sister-in-law” went viral on social media.

Pop star Swift and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce became one of the hottest celebrity couples after they went public with their romance in September 2023.

The high-profile relationship has resulted in Swift supporting her partner at his NFL games – including his Super Bowl win earlier this year – and Travis Kelce returning the favor at a number of her concert dates around the world.

As the couple's every move continued to be the talk of social media, Jason Kelce was confronted with a comment about his brother's romance with Swift during his guest appearance on ESPN College game day on Saturday.

The former Philadelphia Eagles center was challenged to kick a field goal on behalf of the charity to raise funds for hurricane relief.

Before the NFL star attempted the first of two kicks, co-host Pat McAfee announced, “Jason Kelce, I'm going to your future sister-in-law's concert in Indianapolis tomorrow night.”

“You're leaving?” Jason Kelce responded as he prepared to kick. “Get ready, brother!”

“I feel like 22, bro,” McAfee replied, referencing Swift's track of the same name.

Footage of the exchange was shared on X, formerly Twitter, where it was viewed more than 3.7 million times.

During his College game day In his first appearance, Jason Kelce botched his kick, prompting McAfee to tell him, “Remember what you said about kickers?” on his New heights On the podcast last month, Jason Kelce called position in football unimportant.

McAfee upped the ante, announcing that Jason Kelce would be given a second chance, adding that $200,000 would be donated to relief funds if his attempt was successful.

However, Jason Kelce missed the goal again, prompting McAfee to jokingly quip, “This guy sucks.”

“I have a whole new level of respect,” Jason Kelce said. “I’m bad at kicking, OK!”

His brother Travis Kelce has continued to support his partner at shows on her record-breaking Eras Tour whenever his schedule allowed – just as Swift has done for him.

Swift's support of Kelce last season garnered a lot of media attention, much to the chagrin of some football fans.

“I’m just here to support Travis,” Swift said Time in an interview in late 2023. “I'm not aware if I'm being shown too much and I'm screwing a few dads, Brads and Chads.”

Addressing the cameras, which often panned in her direction, Swift said: “I don't know how they know which suite I'm in. There's a camera about half a mile away and you don't know where it is and “You have no idea when [the] The camera puts you on the show, so I don't know if I'll be shown 17 times or once.

“Football is great, it turns out,” Swift added (“playful,” according to Sam Lansky, the story’s author). “I’ve been missing out my whole life.”
