The 2024 NFL trade deadline is just around the corner. All 32 teams have until November 5 at 4:00 p.m. ET to finalize any contracts made prior to the 2025 offseason. That means it's high time for anyone looking to make a last-minute addition – or deletion – to their lineup.

With that in mind, here are five of the players most likely to be traded to a new home by Tuesday's deadline:

Normally a 34-year-old wide receiver with a hamstring injury wouldn't attract much interest, but Thielen has proven on the field that he remains a reliable technician. The fact that he hasn't played since the end of September could also work in his favor, considering he's had plenty of time to rest. The former Minnesota Vikings star would certainly relish the chance to finish his underrated career with a contender.

The former Los Angeles Chargers star has been the subject of trade rumors since Aaron Rodgers almost blamed him for a wrong move in the New York Jets' loss that preceded the club's trade for Davante Adams. Since then, Williams has managed just two catches on four targets and basically the entire NFL has been waiting for his next move. He still has some value as a secondary option for contested catches.

Conflicting reports cloud the question of Bourne's availability, but let's face it: At 2-7, the New England Patriots aren't in a position to be picky about trading away aging role players. And Bourne, despite struggling in recent years, has been a decent reserve for longer than fellow Patriots forward KJ Osborn, another potential trade asset. A reunion with the San Francisco 49ers could make sense.

Smith has been a speculated target of the Detroit Lions for weeks as the NFC contenders look for pass-rushing depth following Aidan Hutchinson's serious leg injury. NBC News all but confirmed this, reporting Sunday that it was the former Pro Bowler expected to end up at Motown. In any case, it makes sense for the Cleveland Browns to cash in on a proven but aging standout player with an expiring contract.

A year after changing teams in the 2023 season, Joseph-Day is a top candidate for another change. He's been an integral part of the Tennessee Titans' relatively stingy defense, anchoring the front line with three tackles for loss and four quarterback hits, but he's also 29 years old and on a one-year deal after spending 2023 with both the 49ers and the Los Angeles Chargers played. The Titans need as many future picks as possible.
