Israeli police investigators arrested an IDF officer as part of an investigation into leaked secret documents from the prime minister's office. Eli Feldstein's arrest is the fifth so far in the high-profile investigation.

Name of Netanyahu's office leak case revealed

The gag order on the investigation was partially lifted on Friday when the district court confirmed that several suspects had been arrested as part of the investigation into a suspected “security breach by illegally providing classified information.”

Benjamin Netanyahu, Israel's longtime prime minister, has denied any wrongdoing by his office staff, saying in a statement that he was only made aware of the leaked document by the media.

Details from the document in question were published by Deutsche in September Picture Newspaper, one of the media companies that appealed to the court to overturn the silence order.
