Quincy Jones' last Instagram post was dedicated to daughter Martina

Quincy Jones made a heartwarming final public statement before his death at the age of 91 on Sunday, November 3rd.

The legendary music producer tagged his daughter Martina Jones' 58th birthday on Friday, November 1st, with a sweet message via Instagram.

“Happy birthday to my Tina Beena @martinafotos1!! 🎉. So proud to be your dad! “Big hug, I love you forever 🫶🏾💜,” Jones captioned a photo of him and Martina just two days before he died surrounded by his loved ones in Los Angeles.

Jones, his publicist, died Sunday evening at his home in the Bel Air neighborhood of Los Angeles Arnold Robinson said, per multiple outlets including The Hollywood Reporter and the Associated Press.

“Tonight it is with full but broken hearts that we must bear the news of the passing of our father and brother Quincy Jones. And while this is an incredible loss for our family, we celebrate the great life he led and know there will never be another like him,” Jones' family said in a statement.

Jones shared Martina and his son Quincy III55, with his second wife, an actress Ulla Andersson. He also shared a daughter, Jolie71, with his first wife Jeri CaldwellDaughter Rachel61, with ex-girlfriend Carol Reynoldsdaughters Kidada50, and actress Rashida48, with third wife Peggy Liptonand daughter Kenya31, with ex-girlfriend Nastassja Kinski.

Back in March, Martina shared her own sweet birthday post via Instagram on the occasion of her father's 91st birthday.
