Frankie Valli has addressed a series of viral TikToks that caused concerns among fans about his recent live performances.

The 90-year-old Four Seasons singer was the subject of several clips that made the rounds on social media.

In one instance, he appears to be a few bars behind the choreography of his classic single “December 1963 (Oh What a Night).”

Another shows the band performing “Bye, Bye, Baby (Baby, Goodbye),” with Valli appearing to miss some lyrics. Some fans claimed he appeared to be lip-syncing.

“He needs to rest,” one viewer commented, while another said he looked “exhausted.”

“I really want someone to check on him,” said another concerned fan.

In a statement about it People On Monday, September 30, Valli dismissed the concerns and stressed that he still loves performing live shows.

“I know there's been a lot of talk about me on the internet lately, so I wanted to clear things up. I'm blessed to be 90 years old and still doing what I love to do, and as long as I'm able and the audience wants to see me, I'll be out there like I always do [have]” he said.

“I absolutely love what I do. And I know we put on a great show because our fans still come out in droves and the show still rocks.”

Valli said he “laughed” when he read the comments of those who wondered whether he would be “forced” to go on stage.

“Nobody ever forced me to do anything I didn’t want to do,” he said.

“How do we do the show?! The Four Seasons sound has always been about layering vocals and instruments. We use our 60 years of experience to make us sound like the records. I sing, I have singers who sing, great arrangements… everything.”

Valli's statement ended with: “I plan on doing shows and delivering the great Four Seasons sound for as long as possible. Like that line in Jersey Boys, I'm like that bunny on TV that just keeps going and going and going. Chasing the music.”

The singer, who rose to fame as Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, rose to fame in the '60s thanks to his remarkable falsetto singing, scoring hits such as “Sherry,” “Walk Like a Man” and “Big Girls Don't Cry.”

He remained active into his 90s, having recently completed a series of residencies in Las Vegas and with a tour scheduled through April 2025.
