Authorities investigate death in Price County

HACKETT TOWNSHIP, Wis. (WEAU) – Authorities are investigating a death in Price County.

The Sheriff's Office is conducting a death investigation near State Highway 13 and Whitby Road in the town of Hackett, according to a news release from the Price County Sheriff's Office.

On November 3, 2024, a person was found dead on State Highway 13 at approximately 8:56 p.m.

There is no known threat to the community, the release said.

The incident is under investigation.
