Puric vs. Mahmoudi, Di Bella vs. Botelho, Thongpoon vs. Williams confirmed for ONE Fight Night 26

Three exciting matchups have been added to ONE Fight Night 26: Lee vs. Rasulov on Prime Video, which will air live in US primetime on Friday, December 6th from the iconic Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

In a crucial Muay Thai flyweight bout between top contenders, 2nd ranked Denis “The Bosnian Menace” Puric will take on 5th ranked Elias “The Sniper” Mahmoudi.

It's a return to the “art of the limbs” for Puric, who most recently took on ONE Muay Thai flyweight world champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon under the rules of kickboxing, pushing the Thai megastar to his limits in a chaotic brawl.

Despite this defeat, the Bosnian-Canadian fighter is on a two-fight winning streak in Muay Thai – with decision wins over Jacob Smith and Nguyen Nhat – and is hoping to make a bid for the world title.

In the other corner, Mahmoudi scored two highlight-reel finishes against Edgar Tabares and Taiki Naito, further establishing himself as one of the most exciting strikers in the world.

The Algerian sensation is ranked in the top five in both flyweight kickboxing and flyweight Muay Thai and is looking to move closer to his chance at gold with another memorable win.

In strawweight kickboxing, former division king Jonathan Di Bella will look to start another golden run against the red-hot Rui Botelho.

So far, Di Bella has only competed in world title matches since joining ONE Championship, winning the inaugural belt against Zhang Peimian and then successfully defending it against “Mini T” Danial Williams.

The Italian-Canadian phenom most recently suffered the only defeat of his amateur and professional career when he lost in a close decision to Thai superstar Prajanchai PK Saenchai and would earn a rematch with a win on December 6th.

On the other hand, Botelho enters this competition after two sensational surprise victories.

The Portuguese veteran suffered a series of tough defeats against top-class competitors, but bounced back to overpower former ONE World Title challenger Zhang and then-Thai fan favorite Thongpoon PK Saenchai.

The 29-year-old will now aim for the biggest win of his career – and make his own case for a world title shot – when he takes on Di Bella in Bangkok.

In the third announced matchup, the aforementioned “Mini T” Danial Williams and Thongpoon PK Saenchai will face off in a strawweight Muay Thai bout.

Competing in striking sports and MMA since joining ONE Championship, “Mini T” has made a name for himself as a fast-paced, aggressive fighter while constantly facing elite opponents and even Superlek Kiatmoo9 for the ONE World Title in 2022 challenges in flyweight kickboxing.

The former WMC Muay Thai World Champion is now looking to stay at the top with an impressive performance at ONE Fight Night 26 – and he has the ideal opponent to deliver a home run.

Thongpoon initially stormed into the ONE Championship with a string of victories and developed into an action knockout artist at the ONE Friday Fights series of events.

Since receiving a six-figure contract to join the organization's global roster, the 27-year-old Thai has stumbled and will suffer two defeats in this matchup.

However, the PK Saenchai representative has a chance to keep his balance against Williams and prove that he is one of the best strikers in the world.
