Vermont man accused of threatening people with weapons

BRATTLEBORO, Vt. (WCAX) – A Vermont man is facing multiple charges, including a hate crime, after he allegedly threatened people with a gun.

Early Saturday morning, Vermont State Police were called to Vinegar Lane in Putney for a report of a fight with a weapon.

Officers say Zachary Goldberg, 42, of Putney, pointed a gun at someone, used offensive and hateful language and threatened people.

Goldberg was arrested and faces multiple charges, including aggravated assault with a weapon, criminal threats and a hate crime. He is due in court on Monday.
