Motorcyclist Killed, Three People Injured in New London Crash – NBC Connecticut

A South Dakota man has died and three other people were taken to the hospital after a crash in New London Sunday afternoon.

The accident occurred at around 4:47 p.m. at Colman Street and Vauxhall Street, near the entrance to the New London Shopping Center

Police officers and firefighters responded and determined that two sedans and a motorcycle were involved in the accident.

According to police, four people were taken to Lawrence + Memorial Hospital and the motorcyclist suffered the most serious injuries.

The motorcyclist, 45-year-old Curtis Barkdull of Sturgis, South Dakota, died at the hospital, police said.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
