Viral Olympian Raygun challenges Breaker with a new competition – NBC10 Philadelphia

An Australian B-girl's Olympic performance left viewers around the world thinking they could do better.

Now she wants them to follow their words with actions.

Raygun, which went viral during the first Olympic breaking competition in Paris, has teamed up with Finder Australia for a new competition asking dancers to show off their moves.

“I heard some of you can do it better than me,” Raygun said in a joint Instagram post with Finder Australia. “Really? Let's find out, shall we?”

Participants can use Raygun's signature moves like the “Kangaroo Hop” or perform their own moves to the “Finder Beat.” Breakers must upload their video to TikTok or Instagram, use the hashtag #RaygunChallenge and tag Finder Australia to enter.

Instead of gold, silver and bronze medals, the best solo dancer will receive A$5,000 and the best group dance will receive A$10,000.

Closing date for entries is 11:59 p.m. AEDT (8:00 a.m. ET) Monday November 11th. The finalists will be announced on November 14th. Fan voting will take place the following week before the winners are announced on November 11th, 12:59pm AEDT. 22.
