The fight, originally scheduled for July 20, is scheduled for this month. It will now take place on a Friday instead of a Saturday, which is unorthodox for most major boxing events. Netflix and Most Valuable Promotions have teamed up to present a full fight card at the home of the Dallas Cowboys in Arlington, Texas.

Tyson, the former world champion, had to reduce his fight preparations following medical advice but has now confirmed everything is back on track.

Why was the fight between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul postponed?

The prizefight was postponed due to Tyson's medical problems. Tyson's team reported that he had a flare-up of an ulcer that limited his ability to train fully, but his condition was improving.

Previously purchased tickets for July 20th have been honored. Anyone unable to attend the rescheduled date was entitled to a refund at the original point of purchase.
