A former model has accused Donald Trump of groping her after the two were introduced to each other by sex offender Jeffrey Epstein in the 1990s. The Guardian the newspaper reported on Wednesday (October 23, 2024).

Stacey Williams said she met the Republican candidate for the White House in 1992 at a party after being introduced to him by the disgraced financier she was dating.

“It became very clear to me then that he and Donald were really, really good friends and spent a lot of time together,” Ms. Williams was quoted as saying.

Williams discussed the alleged attack on Monday (October 21, 2024) in a call organized by Survivors for Kamala, a lobbying group that supports Mr. Trump's Democratic presidential rival Kamala Harris.

Epstein, who was convicted of sex offenses and killed himself in prison in 2019, paid Mr. Trump an impromptu visit to Williams in his New York office building in 1992, where he pulled her toward him and began groping her, she alleged.

Williams, now 56, says Mr. Trump placed his hands “all over” her breasts, waist and buttocks, causing her to freeze in place, and she noticed that the two men appeared to be smiling at each other.

The Trump campaign did not immediately respond AFPPlease comment, but The Guardian quoted a campaign spokeswoman as dismissing the allegations as a “false” story.

She said it was fabricated by Ms. Harris' campaign and described Williams as “a former activist” for Democratic former President Barack Obama.

Williams shared a postcard showing Mr. Trump's mansion in South Florida; She said he sent her agent after the episode with the message in his handwriting: “Stacey – your second home. I love Donald.”

Mr. Trump has been accused of sexual assault or harassment by more than 20 women but has denied any wrongdoing.

In January, he was ordered by a New York court to pay $83.3 million in restitution to the writer E. Jean Carroll, whom he found guilty of sexual assault and libel.
