A fight led to a quadruple shooting in Elkton that left two people dead and two others injured

ELKTON, Md. – A fight at a party led to a shooting that left two men dead and two other people injured.

The fight happened at a home on Chestnut Drive. According to Maryland State Police, it moved outside and then someone opened fire on a crowd of people standing outside.

Shortly after 6 a.m. Saturday, state police were called to reports of a man lying in the road. He suffered injuries in the shooting and was taken to the hospital. There is currently no information about his condition.

Tamir Davis, 26, of New Castle, Delaware, was taken to the hospital by someone at the party. He died in hospital.

Later Saturday morning, Darius Blalock, 26, of Bear, Delaware, was found dead on the side of the road on I-95 South. Police attributed his death to the Chestnut Drive shooting.

The fourth victim was rushed from the party to the hospital and is being treated for his injuries.

There have been no arrests in this case so far and police are still reconstructing what led to the shooting.
