Winston police arrested a man on online sex crime charges Friday.

According to a WPD report, officers began investigating 26-year-old Bailey Hoover of Roseburg on October 30. It was discovered that Hoover had entered into an online relationship with a juvenile and eventually agreed to meet with the juvenile for sexual contact. Hoover tried to meet the teenager in Roseburg and was subsequently arrested.

Hoover was charged with first- and second-degree online sexual corruption of a child and solicitation of a minor. Hoover was held without bail.

WPD was assisted by the Roseburg Police Department.
